We've reached the end of the year... hooray?
Endings can bring a sense of satisfaction, success or regret, frustration and bitterness.
Most likely a combination of all the feels, depending on what you're focusing on.
Change doesn't happen like a switch. It's more of a spectrum.
A shift of actions, focus and identities working in combination that change how it feels when you show up.
When we combine this formula with a moment in time that's ripe for sparking transformational shifts, magic happens.
But in order for the magic to happen, you have to follow the flow.
Your Adventure of the Week
While days are incrementally creeping longer, there is still work to do in the dark.
Continuing with the signature move of this winter-inspired season with Return is Transitions + Pauses, resist the urge to skip ahead into 'New Year, New You' goals.
Take the time to sit in the twinkly quiet.
Reflect on this past cycle.
- Glean the lessons it taught you and the ways it honed your skills, leveled you up, knocked you down, prepared you for what's next.

Chill the F*ck Out.
This one is two-sided. I had my meltdown moment over my husband using the kids' motivation to gain some video game time to get them to start taking down the Christmas decorations. And while I could have responded vs reacted (aka chilled out), my Glow has been telling me that I need to 'chill out' in Safe Stillness.
- Play with strategic slowness and sink into presence and reflection.
- Regain your bearings while the wisps of the holidays linger but the pressures, obligations and traditions are done.
- Draw in your energy from all of the places that it has been pulled over the past year and reflect on how you want to allocate it for the coming seasons.
The primary energetic needs of this season include a sense of Restoration, Rest, Safety and Capacity.
When we utilize intentional Transitions + Pauses, we are not stuck in a Freeze state, but one of Safe Stillness.
By spending the time we need partaking in these adventures, we honor the natural cycle of our Glow and our place in this vast universe.
Slowing down and creating moments to listen to our Glow helps us navigate this season and the future ahead with more capacity and confidence.
