We've entered the season where stillness is what supports our Glow. Not from the energy of freeze, but choosing intentional pauses and practices that nourish and replenish you from the inside out.

Hi Reader!

Winter blew in like a Yeti this week and suddenly my daily walk includes navigating several inches of snow.

But what's extra notable about this week is that my daily walk streak crossed the 6 YEAR mark on Monday.

I probably should recognize myself a bit more for this level of dedication, but if you're curious I've shared about it in a couple of journal entries.

And on that note, I'm incredibly thrilled to be a featured contributor in the inaugural issue of The Feel Good Daily, created by my business/internet friend Samantha Bilby.

Your Adventure of the Week

We are now in the season of meteorological winter, where we make a shift inward, to slow down.

Not to 'freeze' but intentionally pause, reflect, regroup.

Challenge yourself to observe your energy levels and notice when your Glow is starting to flounder.

The Glow Foundations Course helps notice and name the signs of a floundering and flourishing glow.

I plan on using my next few walks to notice the stillness, the quiet in a world that is coming at us from all sides.

Today I laid down for a few minutes, not to nap but to anchor and recalibrate myself when the 'stop the world, I wanna get off' overwhelm was starting to take over.

After a couple wild and off-routine weeks (and our dog's home grooming gone wildly off the rails), I relished walking back into the coffee shop Monday morning for a work session.

I could feel my Rhythmic and Sovereign Glow replenish by returning to my routine and diving into some business research I've been doing (and it's so freakin' juicy).

If you are finding yourself-

Numbing out instead of tuning in.

Powering through depletion instead of pausing.

It is time to choose actions that nurture a safe stillness in your Glow. Things that support-

  • Grounded rest
  • Receptive restoration
  • Calm presence

Experiment with what this means to you and what your Glow is needing.
